CENTRE
ST-GABRIEL JEANNE D'ARC
Located at the entrance of the village of Saint-Affrique, our camp session
will take place in this magnificent property surrounded by 15 acres
of land.
Our camp offers the perfect conditions for Artistic activities :
A theatre (200 sq. meters), a dance studio, a music studio, a room with a PA system (sound-proof) with a 90 sq. meters screen, a gym completely equipped, a fine arts studio...
Campers will stay in comfortable rooms of 2 to 5 beds with shower facilities, a dining-room - several sports fields are also available in the Parc and the swimming pool located in the village is only a few minutes walk from the camp.
To decorate and spray paint a huge wall, to create a fresco based on a theme (solidarity, non violence or even the Middle Ages...), is one way to prove one's artistic abilities ! Here is what campers will have to do and learn in order to reach that goal:
Introduction to the different Techniques of painting
and fine arts
Exploring the region, its resources, its culture, its history and choose
a theme
Finding the right location to work and get all necessary
authorisations
With the help of a professional artist making a model at first and then
creating the Fresco !
Additionally, campers will participate in the creation of all the different sets necessary to other programs on site (theater, music hall ...).

They will study, calligraphy, Acrylic and aquarelle painting, lettering
and manuscript illumination and experiment Environmental Art
in Nature...
